Insulin syringes are made specifically for selfinjection. These contain shorter needles, as insulin injections are subcutaneous (under the skin) rather than intramuscular, finer gauge needles, for less pain, and markings in insulin units to simplify drawing a measured dose of insulin. It has a microbonded lubrication process which creates more glide and less friction. Its electropolishing feature polishes away microscopic burrs giving every needle a smooth finish. It is thinner and smoother for a more comfortable and less painful injection.
